Led the development of OpenBB's web products: openbb.co (marketing, Remix), docs.openbb.co (documentation, Docusaurus), my.openbb.co (hub platform, Remix), and most importantly OpenBB Workspace, the enterprise analytics platform. Workspace sits between a BI tool and a terminal — an interface layer for data visualization and AI-powered analysis with interactive dashboards. Stack: React, TailwindCSS, Zustand, Tanstack Query.
Received an FCT research scholarship to study web vs native application performance on mobile devices. The thesis showed that web apps could match native performance in most scenarios - which proved prescient, since most of my professional work since 2021 has been building high-performance web applications. Published research on cybersecurity topics, some of which is on my blog. Final grade: 19/20.
Built credentialing systems and mobile apps for Queima das Fitas (one of Portugal's largest festivals) handling thousands of attendees with QR code entry systems. Shipped ruc.pt, a nationwide radio website built with Next.js and WordPress/GraphQL, plus various web apps for international clients via Upwork. Stack: React Native, Next.js, Firebase, TailwindCSS.
